Charged Aerosol Detector (CAD), as a high-sensitivity, broad-spectrum mass-responsive detector, is widely used in the detection and analysis of non-UV-absorbing compounds. Piperidine, as a common organic amine compound, holds an important position in pharmaceutical intermediates and organic synthesis fields. Due to its lack of UV absorption characteristics, traditional detection methods such as UV detectors struggle to perform accurate quantitative analysis.
This report aims to test and evaluate piperidine samples using Instrumax's self-developed Charged Aerosol Detector (CAD), verifying the instrument's performance in detecting low-UV-response substances.
