. The Charged Aerosol Detector (CAD) is increasingly valued in modern liquid chromatography because it provides broad response to non-volatile compounds, good quantitative performance and simple operation. CAD shows clear advantages for target compounds with no UV absorption, difficult ionization or weak chromatographic response.

Glucose is a representative polar carbohydrate without UV absorption and is a typical sample for evaluating CAD performance. Its stable structure and well-defined physicochemical properties make it suitable for testing detector sensitivity, response consistency, linear range and baseline stability.

This report uses the Charged Aerosol Detector independently developed by Instrumax to systematically test glucose samples and evaluate its performance for polar small molecules. By comparing response, repeatability and baseline behavior under different concentration conditions, the report verifies the detector's application potential in carbohydrate analysis and supports further extension to complex systems such as traditional Chinese medicine, food and metabolite analysis.
