Caffeine is a representative alkaloid widely present in complex matrices such as foods, beverages, and pharmaceuticals. It has moderate polarity and strong stability, can be used for UV detection, and is also suitable as a test model for evaluating CAD response capability.
Using caffeine as the analyte covers CAD response to moderately polar small molecules and evaluates quantitative linearity, response consistency, and detection sensitivity across different concentration ranges.
