IM-Air Series: Butterfly Air Filter Inquiry & Ordering IM-Air Series filters are small filters for sterile gas filtration, filtration and ventilation applications. The IM-Air Series filters use a hydrophobic PTFE membrane as the air filtration medium and can be autoclaved for repeated use. They are suitable for sterile ventilation of small fermenters and media storage tanks, as well as low-flow pipeline air filtration or respirators.

• The unique design of IM-Air provides high flow rate and high safety. The filter membrane uses polypropylene mesh reinforcement technology, with a pressure resistance of up to 3 bar. The 20 cm² filtration area enables high throughput even at low differential pressure. Weighing only 20 g, it will not bend the hose and hinder ventilation. The trapezoidal hose connector can be easily connected to hoses with an inner diameter of 6-12 mm. IM-Air offers superior sterile ventilation for filling containers and fermentation bottles, including sterile ventilation of culture containers and CO2 incubators (6-120L), sterile ventilation of distilled water and liquid media culture tanks, autoclave ventilation, online sterilization, and removal of particles from air and gases, such as sterile ventilation of small fermenters, maximizing operational convenience.
